Want to take part in TRAILTOUR?

Just follow these steps:

1. Register for the event.
2. Choose one of the TRAILTOUR stages.
3. Run the chosen stage and upload the GPS record to Strava (what is Strava?).

Registration for TRAILTOUR

In order for us to read your activities on Strava.com and calculate results, we need your permission. You can revoke this permission at any time in your Strava account settings.

In the next step, we will ask you to fill in several details required for your participation in TRAILTOUR.

If you want to explore stages in other countries, you are welcome to register for multiple national competitions. TRAILTOUR 2026 runs simultaneously in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, but your results will be calculated separately for each national competition.

Before you register

1. Please make sure that you are logged into your own Strava profile, especially if the computer you are using is shared by multiple users.
2. If you see your name on the Strava dashboard, everything is fine.
3. If someone else is logged in, log them out and sign in with the Strava account under which you want to register for TRAILTOUR.
4. You can verify the logged-in user by clicking here (opens a new window).
5. Check that your gender is filled in on your Strava profile.
6. If not, your results cannot be counted.
7. Even though it may seem illogical, please leave all permission checkboxes enabled as shown in the image during registration. Otherwise, Strava will refuse API communication, and we will not be able to calculate your results.

Ready to head out?

1. Study the route carefully.
2. Print out the map.
3. Upload the GPX file of the route to your GPS device (if possible).
4. If you are unsure at an intersection, stop and check the map.
5. (If you leave the route, we won’t be able to include you in the stage results.)
