Trailtour 2025 Romania

After your first stage, you’ll understand…

TRAILTOUR is the only running race that gives you complete freedom. Between the starting gun and the finish line you’ll experience everything—from a three-minute, all-out red-zone effort to hours of pure euphoria along mountain ridges.

Pick your stage, your time, your pace. TRAILTOUR kicks off on September 1 and ends on October 31—the rest is entirely up to you. When and where will you head out? Will you go full speed, or take it slow and far? Collect points on mountain climbing stages or on flat city routes. Use your strengths, improve your weaknesses. Victory can come from endurance just as much as from speed. But be careful—it’s highly addictive.

You’ve got a playground spread across 88 stages in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. We race in three categories: Climber, Sprinter, and Gravel. Registration is free, and all you need to take part is a GPS watch or a mobile phone.

Basic Info About TRAILTOUR

Everything you need to know for successful participation in the stage race

Preparation

On each stage’s page you’ll find the basic route parameters, the bonus coefficient, and a GPX file to download to your watch. There’s also a preview map with the course marked out—you can plan your itinerary here and either print everything to take with you on the trail or save the map to your phone. Preparation really matters.

Registration

If you want to appear in the results list and be in the running for prizes, you need to register. If you just want to run one of the stages without seeing yourself in the rankings, you’re welcome too. In that case, registration is not required—but you won’t be eligible for any prizes.

Results

The results windows for each competition will be updated in real time. That’s why we strongly encourage you to pair your runs with the Strava app promptly and consistently. Please respect the maximum 5-day deadline for uploading your runs to Strava. The reason is simple: we want to maintain the atmosphere and attractiveness of the entire event for all participants.

Rules

A participant may complete each stage as many times as they like. All runs count. We obtain the GPS record of the stage from the Strava app, and the activity must be visible to other users and must include the relevant segment. The complete rules for viewing.

Community

We’d love for you to share your experiences, stories, photos, tips, insights, and recommendations with others. That’s exactly why we run our Instagram profile—don’t forget to tag us! You’ll find the complete guide on how to join the competition.

Prizes For Winners

The prizes may be secondary, but they’re still very attractive. In the lottery, you can win high-performance headlamps, and in the competitions, vouchers for top-quality running gear. The race is all about experiences and pushing your limits—but great equipment is a pretty nice bonus.

Ready?

All it takes is twenty seconds of courage, deciding and trying the first stage.
